Samsung Galaxy S3

@ Brawler the resurrection rom you mentioning is it more stable then cm11 & how`s the battery usage like?
What other stable non battery eating roms would you people recommend.

I haven't had any issues with it. I took my phone phone off the charger at 7am and its still on 82%. Only whatsapp'd a couple times though but it is good, always get at least a day.

Only ever used CM10 (Jellybean) which was great. CM11 is not yet stable enough for me on the S3.

I can recommend that resurrection rom. A few days in and extremely happy.

Which version of Resurrection Remix Rom you running? I had 5.0.7 which was all good, upgraded to 5.1.0 and camera, wifi and random restarts. So I took it back to 5.0.7.

After running Temasek's ROMs for close to the past 2 years, I've recently installed OMNIROM and it has been working great.

Updates are download overnight and my battery life had improved substantially. I am using Boeffla-Kernel.

5.1.0.

Everything going swimmingly.

Now that 4.4.2 is out for the Sprint Galaxy S3, could we expect to see it soon for the international variant?

My contract is up next month. How much do you recon I could sell my S3 for? Condition is excellent.

Dropped my phone badly out of my pocket, screen cracked and no display but i can luckily adb in and send commands and use AndroidScreenCast to view it

Now I need to take it in to insurance (cellsure) but I am on CM11, so now I need to download the latest stock for Vodafone from Sammobile but battling with that, then I need to see if I can take my current 4.4.2 to 4.3 without issues in Odin

Then of course use Triangle Away at the end

Why do you think insurance would have a problem with it having a custom rom?

Is anyone else having this issue after the new update:
When I'm driving or navigating I use the bluetooth to play music from my phone. The issue is that when the Google Maps/Waze wants to give directions the sound goes completely silent. I get no voice sound from the navigation, then after a while my music comes back on.

I've noticed that the volume for notifications is quite low on my wife's S3 after the update. Might affect Bluetooth output as well.

I think that's a tad optimistic. The market is flooded with them as most people's 2 year contracts have come to an end now.

People are always optimistic when they're selling stuff. :)

Yup, and let's hope the S3 1GB RAM version will get the Kitkat update.

Doesn't rooting void your warranty? I think he's trying to get it to stock state before sending it in

Only if you are insured with your service provider () might you encounter problems. Santam doesn't even look at the phone before paying out. They only need a damage report from a repair outlet.
