Yesterday was the first time that I ever restored back to a previous version.

Either CM10.2 did not install correctly on my phone or it is full of bugs.

After updating I had 4 or 5 apps missing from the phone.
My phone app shortcuts no longer worked - Had to delete and re-add the shortcuts again.
In the phone app the search function was not functioning properly.
My Cobalt Theme was buggy as hell.
Data connection did not function at all. (Could receive and make calls but no data when not connected via Wi-Fi, even if it showed I had EDGE/3G/H+ connection)

I will try Cm10.2 a bit later again and keep an eye on the changelogs to see if any of my problems were reported and fixed.

I am going to flash 10.2 tonight

Had 10.1 but then went back to a stock rom.

The CWM I have should still be sufficient if I put 10.1 on with it, shouldn't it?

I haven't tried again. I see the changelogs are very long. Means there are still too many bugs for my liking.

CWM should be fine yes. I can't remember ever updating mine since I first rooted.

If ure looking for stability I would recommend staying away from all 4.3 based roms as they are still very buggy. Ive tried a few and always ends up going back to a 4.2.2 based rom. Should give it some time. I use Rootbox 4.2 at the moment

I installed the newest nightly yesterday and it seems fine to me. Will report back if I find any bugs

Don't!
The CM 10.2 update is supper buggy on mine. Some apps crashing and only working after a reboot. Some UI bugs, absolutely horrible battery life etc. etc.
Dammit, should have stuck to the last 10.1 Nightly, downgrading will be a mission now

Have a stock 4.1.2 rom My s3 is frequently lags and occasionally reboots itself.whats the Best way to go about fixing this as I am overseas at the moment. Also worried about resting it as then all my what's app contacts will change since I'm using a foreign sim and my cell c sim doesn't have roaming

so far no problem. But battery consumption is worse. Enjoying it. Nice features.

Was in the habit of doing nightly updates every few days and I've been doing this for months with no issues, didn't realize the latest one was actually a 4.3 Update and my backup was like 2 weeks old. Uuugh.

U can try wiping ure cache partition through booting into recovery. If that does not work Im afraid only a factory reset will do the trick.

Maybe fixing permissions in recovery might help.

I used to be on the latest Omega, which is based off the stock 4.2.2. It was OK but pretty much the same as stock 4.1.2. Now I'm running the latest Paranoidandroid. It's also 4.2.2 based but you get to run apps in tablet mode and change resolution at will. All Android versions should actually have that.

Paranoid is nice. Simple and smooth. Currently running Paranoid 3.68.

Wiped some of the main apps with a high cache. Phone seems to lag or freeze when using high ram amounts. With everything closed except chrome im using 614mbs of ram. Sits in the 500mb range when evrrything is closed. Surely it should be using less

Mine is running at just under 600MB, which seems right since there is a decent amount of background services running.

I've been running Cyanogenmod 10.2 for a few days and I'm most impressed. Extremely stable and smooth.
