Samsung Galaxy S3

I am getting excessive battery drain on 4.3, on S4 Revolution Rom v11 beta2.
Will try and flash standard 4.3 to my i9300 and see if there is a difference

Copy both of those into the root folder of your phone.

Once rooted, boot into recovery mode by Home & Volume Up & Power.

Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the physical volume buttons to move up and down. On most devices, the power button is used to confirm your selection, although for some devices the power button is used as a "back" button to go up one level, in which case the home button is used to confirm the selection.

then (goto advanced and select "Install update from SD Card")
- Flash CM10.2 zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot) -- this is done in recovery mode.
- Reboot

its the best decision you will ever make, it just makes the phone insanely fast with beautiful android. I also installed the sense 5 theme which just changes the icons and dialer and messaging... nice difference :)
 
I've now swapped over from Dalvick to ART and the phone is a lot more responsive, apps open a lot quicker than before.

BTW, running Temasek V18 (CM11)
 
Also have the S3, when I got it day one (swopped it for a Lumia 920) it was still Vodafone branded, and I am MTN, and don't like the branded software. So I removed it via Samobile by flashing Germany's firmware 4.1.2. (waiting for the new firmware :whistle:)

What I would like to know, I have been using it for a year now, with no problems, but I have found the signal is rather poor. Would it be because of an SP or phone issue, or would it be because of the modem etc files are from Germany?

Whatsapp working? I heard of issues with it & ART sometime back.

One issue: Im getting annoying cell broadcast messages every 5 mines (like 13 each time). I disabled them in settings but they are still coming though...
 
thanks, I dont have Titanium backup, is it a paid app?
I tried to delete the file but it said "cannot be deleted"

Edit: Just downloaded the free version and it says the freeze functionality is only for the "Donate" version"

Why cm10.2?

Cm11 is leagues ahead
