Thanks dude. Went ahead and ordered one.
I looked around and sites that had the original had them at R399 just for the battery. So R402.95 to include a charge dock is not bad.

Bought a spare from expansys. Totally worth it. Don't really care about battery life, unless it's really really bad.
Which it is at the moment. Using better battery stats to find the problem. Haven't tried yet, but it's the recommended method on xda.

I haven't changed from one that came with polish JB
It was made removable, it's not an iphone

I've been doing it every morning for the past 3 months and I can't see that it's going to break anytime soon.
I bought my extra battery and desktop charger at a Vodashop for R399 in July.

Does anyone know what this "Media" is when I check my battery usage?
It wasn't there in ICS or JB. Only when I flashed the Omega ROM I noticed that.

Think it's media downloads, like pics, music, etc.

I have given up on trying to fix my battery problem. I managed to get through most of the day by hardly using my phone ):
BetterBatteryStats shows that my phone is in deep sleep 80% of the time and I have no rogue wakelocks. All that is left now is a faulty battery.
I average 10% PH usage with screen off and in deep sleep (waaaaaaaaaay too high) and 16 to 20% when hammering it (normal).
Problem is making me dislike my S3 though. If the new battery does not fix this my S3 is going into the classifieds. Wifey wants it though so she may take it. Then off to the Note 2 I shall go...

Definitely sounds like a dodgey battery to me.

Just go Razr Maxx HD.
Gsam battery does look more user friendly. Give it a go.
Else do a full wipe and don't restore via titanium. In fact try the phone stock before you start installing other apps besides the critical ones.

Done all that dude. Went back to ICS and installed the bare minimum. Nothing changes the discharge.

About 9 hours with screen off most of the time.
EDIT: A few nights ago I fell asleep without docking my phone. It was at around 75%. Woke up 7 hours later and it was beeping for a charge. Sitting at 9%.
