Yeah that is what I have done thanks. Its not the usual PDF completely blank thing, its got all the sars table outlines and stuff like a blank version of their SOA template, and then nothing filled in except the one line with my return.

Maybe it is an issue with them. Wouldn't be the first

I see now I do have more details in the sheet, but still no date of payment or anything. Guess I will have to wait and see.

Just to say - it really is pointless phoning and wasting resources. They have an immovable process that they need to follow.

Looks like I'm getting paid tomorrow. As per my previous posts, I filled on 1 July, selected for verification, uploaded all docs on 1 July, completed on 10 July, payment date 14 July. The big learning this year is that there is a disconnect between backend processing and e-filling profile systems communication (no letters, sms etc.) in most cases. Thus creating unnecessary anxiety amongst tax payers. Advice: Follow up with the call centre every 2nd or third day, it looks like the work is being done in the back office but you need to call for updates as opposed to relying on e-filling workpage to give you progress updates.

That's not great advice - it's simply a waste of call centre time.

Nobody said it was great advice and you certainly don't have to take it. I speak on behalf of those who are in the same situation that I was in and looking for answers. It worked for me, hopefully it helps someone else be less anxious or despondent. You can continue doing what you do

So basically most of us that submitted 2nd July and got selected for verification is still waiting for any kind of update, mine still sits at "correction filed"

SOA is still on "being verified" or something to that effect.

Yeah I've been waiting for my stuff for a while now. My SOA still says I'm selected for verification and I've uploaded the documents on the 6th already (6 business days ago). It's still just stuck on SARS Status: Return - Assessed. Going to give them a call today to find out if someone can help me get to the bottom of what they're waiting on.

So I called them. Selected for Audit, not just Verification. Yay. So 21 business days since the 6th before I have the first chance of seeing my refund. Man, SARS just knows how to mess up your day. :/

Hectic, one has to wonder if more people will be selected for Audit so that payments can be delayed for longer :(

Yeah but why a full blown audit? For the second year in a row? It's not even like I claimed any refunds - they calculated it based on my IRP5 and now I'm being audited (again)? This place is confuscating :(

As in, confusing and confiscating your stuff at the same time?

They have 21 working days to work through your audit from the date you submit the documents.
