SARS E-Filing 2019 OPEN!

Any of you having problems saving your returns?
Each time I save my return and reopen it , it seemingly has random boxes ticked.
Did my wife's return this morning and was easy to fix the random buttons it ticked after saving.
But mine is really weird, I now don't have any irp5 info and i cant add it and also now I have to enter details about farming and other weird stuff I know nothing about. Now I cant get my return look like it has to

Perhaps try clicking refresh data, which should fetch your irp5 data if it is available.
 
I am expecting a refund but according to the SOA, the refund was reversed. Called the help desk on Friday and was told that the reason for the reversal was because I submitted my return too early? Seems like the arse doesn't know what the elbow is doing!
Will give them a call next week and see what the reason is for the reversal.

Usually when details have changed , address? Bank account?

The new website does look a lot better than the old. As long as you're not using Edge it seems. And that blank pdf issue doesn't crop up either. It renders just fine. Not sure why the descriptions are truncated in Ms Edge.
 
Where about do I go on the website to fill in the details? Seems like it's hidden from me... I assume I click on “Returns“ on top right? Then?
 
Ran the numbers, I'll owe them around R6k. Haha, see you in December SARS.

Never mind. Figured it out. Am very worried now tough as it's showing I owe sars R2400 but I was expecting a nice refund with my medical aid contributions for 4 people :(

Seems to be a mistake by my companies irp5...
 
I'm trying to claim a deduction for qualifying legal expenses under code 4044, but I can't seem to find this anywhere on the new eFiling. On the previous returns it was on the last page with medical, RA, disability deductions.

Help anyone?

NVM, Found it! Have to click "Yes" for Did you receive any other income..... and/or incur any other allowable expenses not addressed above.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Did you manage to sort it out?
