SARS E-Filing 2019 OPEN!

Mine isn't working anymore. I have both SA and foreign income, and once I declared the foreign the "Calculate" part just stopped working. I just get a blank page now.

Will try again later today when the load is a little less.
 
Did my return on Saturday night with the new site - was pretty easy to do.

Just annoying that it somehow remembered choices for a "Comprehensive" options, but if you change the answers to "N" it doesn't reset it to the default values so for ages I had stuff under there for "farming" and "VCCs" - until I figured it out.

Now to wait for my money to be paid out.
 
Anyone else unable to download their ITA34 after submitting their return? Keep getting the following error:

"There has been an error. Please try again or contact us if the problem persists "

I am being audited as last year (wifes separate medical aid deducts from my bank account, so i have two medical aid claims). Just uploaded all the docs required. Now we wait.

Got a reply late Friday afternoon, no change. So now I just wait for my largest refund ever. Double last year.

The website is so broken its hilarious.
 
Maybe some of you can help me, I have lost my login details and my email address that I used to register I no longer have access to. Anyway to get the details

I'm curious, why doesn't your wife claim her medical aid tax credits through her own tax return? The fact that it's being paid from your bank account shouldn't make any difference.
 
I need to create a new account and it gets stuck on the contact details page, goes no further.

I suppose this is a legacy thing. When we were first married, she was finishing her studies and had no actual salary so wasn't doing a return. I suppose it is time we update that.
Also we're on separate plans so we don't have to be on the same one. I have a hospital plan, she has more comprehensive so that Maternity and kid are covered. :)

Nothing loads, ITSA is broken, had a refund amount on Friday, now its 0.0 but can't see if that's because they've loaded the payment up or something else.
 
What exactly do they mean by destination? I never had to provide a destination.
Town/Area or actual business visited? Also, do I do this for private trips to? Not that its any of their business when I go visit teazers.

That's always been how the logbook is compiled unfortunately.

Well, I've not once provided a destination. Mine always said Business Trip/Private Trip.

So what is meant with destination? Area? Full address? Company name?
 
Do you really need the opening and closing odometer for every day the vehicle was used on a business trip?

I just record the start and destination location and distance traveled for the total journey. I've been audited before and that's what I sent and never had an issue.
