Was no 93 in the q.. Waited 20 mins for someone to answer.. Couldn't open d9c on new site.. Downloaded Sars e-filing app on ph and agent took me thru it.. Done..

Gotta love the new OTP via email - they have a timeout of 2 mins but it takes 3 mins to arrive because the first 1.5-2 minutes it's sitting on their own servers and then at Mimecast. What a frikkin joke.

I used the old site to get it. Not sure for the new site.

Found it.

Open returns history, then the return shows similar to the previous website - at the bottom it has request historic notices.

Click on it and then surrender your soul to the never ending errors and waiting. I still haven't been able to actually open one, but at least I know where to get it now.

Seems to be a mistake by my companies irp5...

Some employers already allocate the credit to you monthly as they do your tax calculations. So you get the R 350 odd per month on your salary and not a refund on your return.

Thanks - I have a few profiles. Only managed to get one logged in and now OTP (via email and sms) has now stopped working. The twitterati are already complaining.

I'm trying to claim a deduction for qualifying legal expenses under code 4044, but I can't seem to find this anywhere on the new eFiling. On the previous returns it was on the last page with medical, RA, disability deductions.

Help anyone?

NVM, Found it! Have to click "Yes" for Did you receive any other income..... and/or incur any other allowable expenses not addressed above.

Filed last night, got asked to provide supporting documents in respect of the legal expenses claimed which I submitted at the same time. Let's see how long it takes. Hoping that because I filed before the official start of the season it won't take too long.
