SARS E-Filing 2020/21

Just got a letter! Verification done!

Winner winner ... chicken dinner!

And by verification, I mean audited twice!

I received the second audit outcome on Monday night.

this morning : in my bank !

2021 SARS -> Done and dusted !
 
Got my letter saying audit was done and no changes were made. Then looked online and my acc balance is R0,00. With no refund in my bank... Guess that takes a few days as well...

Submitted on the 2nd of July for both 2020 and 2021. Both was sent for audit, got quite a refund for both. 2020 audit completed by July 20th, refund was done then reversed. I called for 2021 on the 3rd of August it had to be escalated then the new audit as set it to 0. I realised that 2020 refund was due to the fact that I started working in July 2019 and I didn't have a job for a year. So I decided to just content with that 2020 refund and forget about the 2021 one. Just settled for the is +30K that I didn't expect in the first place. Now on the 3rd of August I was told that my banking détails needed validation, got an online appointment, submitted and everything was verified on the 10th and the stopper lifted according to the consultation I spoke to.

Until today, I am waiting for my refund. Some agents say that the stopper still needs to be approved. Some say it doesn't have a time frame, that it can happen anytime, while others say I have to call back again after 21 working days. So I am confused here.
 
I feel like Cyril Ramaphosa's governance is failing, no state services is efficient especially Pravin Gordhan portfolios as well as labour and UIF. First time SARS is giving most of us this kind of stress including their every sunday sms, stressful.
 
Hi has anyone where SARS stated the ROT01 is still been outstanding been able to fix it?
I've been in hell with this.
SARS callcentre keeps telling me they have not received it from the fund and I can't do anything from my side referring me back to the fund.
The fund keeps telling me they have submitted the ROT01 vie an ISV system EBTax and sent me a copy of it. They cannot do anything more seemingly.
On SARS side they are not interested in the EBTax confirmation.
I'm at a loss now.

I’ve got the same issue. Second year now. Last year they said they submitted but got the same message this year again.

You will have to wait it out, there is not much that you can do, can take you to 4/4 months.

Remember that both the paying fund and the receiving fund has to provide information to SARS using the automated ROT process. If the paying Fund tells SARS they paid R10 and the receiving Fund tells SARS they received R10.01 then the process gets delayed. There is almost always a difference,l thanks to the time value of money.

Shame to you SARS. Does this mean wait another 21 Day's or more.
Received today urgent wtf SARS my inbox is full with all the rubbish e-mail received.
They want to Fu??ck over a pensioner.

No not another 21 days, its just the normal Sunday email being sent out to remind you of their incompetence.

If its more than 21 working days then you should call the complaints number and lodge a complaint stating that their verification process has exceeded the maximum number of days.
