SARS E-Filing 2020/21

On the mobile app I get a message from SARS saying "Return - Assessed" but nothing like this on desktop?

Edit: Nvm I see it now - but what happens now?

Where do I check my "efiling profile"?

I stand to be corrected, but my understanding is that you cannot claim for any WFH expenses unless you have a dedicated office space. The office is a prerequisite to claim these expenses

If i try and upload via the “correspondence” button on the app, it shows the documents I’ve uploaded via the pc
 
Did my homework (as in prepped all my docs), submitted ! I am happy, getting audited ! Awaiting the button to upload docs ! :) Yeah

Good luck, been waiting since last week thursday after uploading documents with no positive response yet.

I sincerely apologise. It's the upload supporting docs tab. When you scroll down.Not correspondence.

So sars paid me out, while I had an ongoing dispute, which has now been approved, and they owe me more.
But refund amount shows nothing owing.

Do I need to do something else to get the dispute amount reflecting or paid?
 
Caught in a ping pong between SARS and Sygnia. Sygnia acknowledges the mistake made initially but says they uploaded correct data mid june. SARS agent asked me to try all browsers, cleared cache, click Refresh data a dozen times and then she gave up and said there is no way SARS system shows incorrect data and Sygnia has to upload correct data.

FML.
 
Hi Guys, just a quick question I noticed I owe SARS R4500 from last years tax return and still got my refund...now my question is I did my tax return Monday was not selected for audit or verification but still owe that amount so will they only refund me once that amount is payed or should I just wait and see what happens? Maybe someone else has experienced this that might know? Also my SOA does not show refund date.

The refund is offset against the debt.
 
It amazes me how alot of guys ask the verification period, or being audited!

It stands in bold: 21 days! You cant miss it
 
wife got sms to go check. she did not and did not confirm.
5 days later she was paid out without confirming anything etc
 
What gets me is their inability to tell you what they need or what they have a problem with. Filed on Friday, everything was aces then Monday the email request came for supporting docs and verification:cautious:

I'm being verified for the first time and my tax return has been the same for ever. The only thing I ever claim for are the medical expenses that my medical aid didn't cover that I've paid myself. I called their "hotline"and queried if my change in bank account details needed to be submitted as well as it has changed since last year. They told me no but I see from the posts here that it does... sigh

All this for R4k
