They didnt even compare old with new. Just deleted the existing, inserted the new details, scanned docs and that was it.

Looks like a way to gain time for nothing, or just waste tax payers time

They are still busy on their side. I started today printing all my credit card statements, pointing how I wrote of expenses

Can someone confirm, does the SARS vehicle logbook for travel claims need to show BOTH personal and business travel, or only Business travel?

I've kept a track of business travel but i never logged personal trips...

Submitted 8/07 - required to submit supporting docs for donations & home office.
Submitted supporting docs 10/07 and received confirmation of receipt of supporting docs on 11/07.

To date, nothing further received...

Just got another request for additional supporting docs:
- another employer letter
- house plans and photos of the dedicated work area

Lets see what they want next....

Disputing the adjustment to the home office expenses SARS made this year (previous years verified without issue). Was just waiting for refund to reflect before disputing.

Has anyone received this before. I had around R1000 penalties but sars needs to refund me far more than that. I have uploaded all documents required for audit before i reveived this from sars

I had exactly the same issue. Never changed in 20 years. Now suddenly it aint correct. (Rolling eyes at SARS for that joke)
