Skype for Nokia E65??

Hi

I've searched the forum for answers but most of the posts are from 2005!!

My dad just bought a new Nokia E65 and it has wifi.

Is it possible to install skype onto his cellphone and use the wifi to make skype calls?

Yep, but not Skype as such. You want to install Fring - its a client for Skype, GTalk, MSN and other SIP services. Allows both VOIP and chatting with all of those services. Works good and data-usage is fair. I even got it to work with GPRS, but a bit walky-talky-ish and I sounded like an android on the recipient's side (although he was using a PC with a much better sound system).

about the only feature it needs is a way to turn it's sound off - especially the one for the messaging.
