Updated my box yesterday. Still useless with audio passthrough, as if nothing really changed.

It's fine for Youtube (which works well now) but definitely not a candidate for any home theater setup. I'll probably give mine away to somebody.

On a 10mbps openserve fibre connection through Cool Ideas and mine has been flawless.

10mbps Telkom ADSL, Sunday, was a bust, last night was good ... , so it goes ...

Using 2.4Ghz about 10 meters away, 2 walls. So not sure if distance is a factor here but my other cheap chinese tv box works fine

We are unable to reproduce this, and it is the only report we have so far. Have you tried changing wifi channels?

Audio passthrough should be resolved. Please check your audio settings or try a factory reset.

We have reproduced the issue. From the logs we are mounting devices read-write. This may be another Android 8 permissions issue. We will investigate and confirm this.
