Smart outdoor security cameras in SA?

Anybody know what this 2kg shipping limit from Reolink HK to South Africa is. Is there a workaround? I need a NVR and about 7 cameras but support said they do not ship the NVR to SA anymore due to the weight being over 2kg and I should buy from a guy here in SA but I wont pay the prices he is asking for the items.

Yes (edit reason for 2kg is) to post via Post Office. No courier option anymore it seems.

Thought I'll buy 3 cameras to have them sent via courier.

Bought 3 x RLC410s and Reolink split them into 2 packages and posted via 4PX:
1 x camera
2 x cameras

So seems couriers not used, even for larger packages.

Mine was the same, bought 2 2-packs. Each was shipped on its own. My previous 6 cameras was packed into 1 box and shipped with a courier.

Edit: Buying from Amazon might be a better option now.

E.g. RLC 510.

This camera is $65.25 on Reolink with free shipping, that is R1042 currently. And then roughly R90 customs.

On Amazon this is R763 plus R457 shipping, so R1220. No extra fees.

The Roughly R100 more might be worth it to make sure it is with you in less than 2 weeks and won't go missing at the Post Office.

All is good with the camera , the light and siren work well for only humans and not had a false , two weeks now .
I have not updated the software but the camera is definitely genuine , just ordered another one , that will be 4 darkfighter cams 2 with lights and sirens .

What camera model is that with a siren?
That’s something I could use

For just R100 difference I’d way rather order from Amazon.
How much is that same camera retail in South Africa?

Which seller on Amazon? I still need to buy 7 cameras and a NVR

The siren is loud enough to wake you up and the AI makes sure it is only a human that wakes you up , i have not had a false alarm in the month + i have installed it .

I just searched for Reolink 510 on Amazon and it was the first result. Also a sponsored result so probably Amazon themselves.
Reolink ships directly to South Africa, I bought a few from them directly using Capitec

Reolink support advised that they may resume deliveries via DHL in July.

Hope so. The RLC811A arrived but another 3 cameras ordered this month departed 15 June via 4PX so guess have to wait for 3 months.
