Smart outdoor security cameras in SA?

Still waiting on my new camera!

In the meantime I have 4 poe and one wifi camera.

I have 2 x 4 port poe switches. Once new camera arrives from SAPO, can I daisy chain the 2 poe switches?

I link my poe switches direct to the PC. Can I link 2 x 4 port poe switches to one normal switch which is then connected to PC?

Asked them how to ensure via courier. Response below:

Dear Customer,

We will ship according to the weight and product to choose shipping carriers.
Maybe it will be DHL or Singapore Post. It can not be ensured by courier.

How many cameras did you order? I had only one.

Hopefully they will refund me.

I ordered 4 camera's,so perhaps that's why they agreed to DHL to me.

My local branch closed. So not even sure where to go to check.

Which tracking site are you using?

I dont even have this. Still shows arrived 30 March.

Reolink says if I order at least 3 or 4 cameras it will be sent via DHL.

I use wyze v3 outdoor cams. Absolutely love them. If you want you can integrate to HA or blueiris with rtsp.

Other than that it integrates well with alexa, switches on lights with movement, person Detection notifications and announcements on my echo etc

For the cost it's incredible.
 
Hi I have Provision IP that is the way , i have at my house and at the office, i can view all from the app and on my pc.....works well.

But does it specifically have smart camera features like real-time notifications when unidentified people are detected?

Nice NVR but does not like other makes of cameras , works ok with Dahua and hikvision works well with Provision cams .

Fully agree and bought 2 Wyze cameras but my challenge with Wyze cam is the stability of the connection to the wifi network.

Prefer wired cameras. Thus investment in reolinks.

I took out my poe for wyze v3. Haven't had a second of problems to network and I have it steaming 24/7 to mounted ipad.
 
Which resolution camera would pick up human activity at this gate, specifically the gate motor which is inside bottom left? Distance is about 35m. Will the person be recognizable?
