So you think SA is the only place in the world where there are rapes and murders? I don't think so. You do know that this wont be the first time tourists are coming here? Why haven't people been warning tourists not to come here before? Now all of a sudden it's this super dangerous place where you will be raped and tortured and murdered from the moment you step off the plain.

How many tourists have come here in the last ten years? Why weren't they warned how savage the county was then? but now all of a sudden we're all a bunch of criminals out to kill maim and violate every thing that moves. If things are so bad in SA why are you still living here? After all if it's such a war zone, I would want to protect my family and get on the first plane out of here.

As for this being Zim 2.0, have you ever been there? I lived there for 5 years. Have some good mates there, and can tell you that we live in paradise compared to them.

- 20 people were injured in a taxi crash - so foreigners should not come to the world cup
- Biker killed in Joburg truck smash - so foreigners should not come to the world cup

Always something I ponder. Of course these sad individuals usually state that they cannot wait to leave, or they wish they could but they are not qualified. Crap! If things were that desperate you'd make a plan. It is more fun for them to just hang around not living their lives and spending every minute finding things to bitch about.

So tell me... if someone had a gun to your GF/wife/child's head and said you need to be out of this country by midnight or they all get killed, would you get out? I think I know the answer. Well this is apparently how bad it is in this country, according to some people (I'm assuming yourself included), so why are they here?

Anywhere is better than here apparently so why the need to get into Aus or the UK? Why not some other middle eastern, African or South American country. Surely if your family's life was in such immediate danger you'd go anywhere?

Terrible, terrible, terrible analogies!

With the shark example, shark attacks happen very seldom. Not near the 50 murders a day we have here in SA. If there were 50 shark attacks in a day here in South Africa, then yes, I would most surely tell everyone I know not to go swim in the sea.

And your car analogy also fails. When I drive, I have some control over the influence of the other drivers on the road. I can see an idiot driving and try and avoid him. With crime, yes you get pointers to follow to minimize your risk, but in the end, if a criminal wants to do harm to you, he will and there's not much you can do about it.

So keep preeching your propoganda. I'll keep telling people the truth. And the truth is my family and friends have been through hell with this crime.

Ahh, sorry, I see the problem now. I didn't realise you were limited to leaving on your donkey cart! I made the assumption that flying might be an option.

It's not - that's where you display your ignorance. Where do you think that you can fly to with no visa / work permit / residence permit ?

Maybe spend 7 days in Singapore - and then ??? They will probably send you back here.

You could only get away by seriously breaking any number of laws, like Advocate Barbie's boyfriend. And then rob banks to get money to eat ?

Option 1. Relocate to a lower crime area in SA.

Option 2. Fly to <insert country name here> and apply for political asylum.
