telkom 10mb checker updated today!!

It's a wonder Telkom is not filling that page with a lot of ads, seeing that it gets hammered every day by people longing to "Touch tomorrow".

All that you have to type into Google is 'Telkom 10' and the page pops up, indicating that a lot of people are searching for it, only to have it kill all their hopes and dreams in one fell swoop.

How long now after all the hype and fanfare of 10mb and still only a handful of subscribers have it? It's a joke.

yeah im just happy i can use full speed of my 4096 account, 1080p vids is pretty without buffering :p

bummer! none of my 3 offices can get that speed. Well, perhaps I ought to upgrade to 4mb from 512kb first :)

I called them to check if I could be upgraded and they said "yes sir, 8Mbit. Can I go ahead with the upgrade?" :-D

I'm LOVING the new found speed ;)

haha, Telkom are terrible.

My line was 10mbps, but there were giant latency issues so was downgraded to 4mbps - later on turned out to be a telkom network issue in my area.

Called 10219 - told they only do service upgrades, not adjustments, and I must call 0800 375 375.
Called 0800 375 375 - told they can't assist me, and I must call 10215. I asked why and his response was just 'you must just call them they will help you.
Called 10215 - it's a Telkomsa.net number, they definitely won't help me, they're not even my ISP.

Rage.
