Man Telkom is so confused first they say they are fazing out copper now doing what people were asking for years.I think its a bit too late your ship is already sinking

I called in to the sales line and apparently as from tomorrow (15 May 2020) the introductory offer is available to new subscribers for 6 months. at R199 pm for naked ADSL at 4Mbps, and thereafter R329. Existing customers can get the R329 immediately, obviously by cancelling their phone line. But you have to call in and apply/activate it. You can opt to keep the phone line, and in that case the price for the 4Mbps ADSL with phone line is R499. Again you must phone in and activate it, you don't automatically get price-dropped from your existing R649 4Mbps package. But if you do that right now you lose your promotional 10Mbps upgrade which is still valid for 2 and a half months.

Its actually R829 for 40mps on the telkom site. They also dropped the FUP on the packages.

The line charge and kill copper managers have put their little brains in their cardboard boxes and re-posisioned themselves in the gravy train.
The new hire has this wonderful revelation no-one thought of ......ADSL no line fee..... too late!
Not really well priced either.....Wait for closing down sale prices.

Manually request upgrade to new 10mps would be cheaper I think
