I don't understand?
Did you get some official feedback?
If you did, why not share what is going on?

All I got was essentially 'there's a problem, we are waiting for information, there is no ETA'.

It's as far as I could gather got to do with that international link they mentioned a while ago.

I'm not keeping information from you people out of spite, there's just not really anything to say. I did however implore the rep to publicly information us. *shrug*

Sounds like an under the table deal that "broke" and now has to be fixed under the table, to save "face" ....

I wouldn't mind at all if I could get that but will settle for 90kb/s if it is rock solid stable with a ping of 15 ms

I know what you mean.
I am getting solid 220kB/s instead of 420kB/S, but like someone mentioned, The gamers need low latency.

Last night I got 780ms in War Thunder.
This morning it was 330ms.

Edit:
3.3GB update file on PS4 = 7 hours left.
Have already downloaded 847 MB. Took me about 2 hours.

Got the solution to the f'ed up internet from Telkom, they must supply each of their customers with a case of beer and a bottle of whiskey daily, then we will be lagging as badly as their internet, and we will not feel too badly about the lousy internet :D

It's easy to start thinking the grass is greener on the other side, but my Telkom account is still performing better during the day than my Openweb account ever did, and downloading has been good enough for me. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones there.

Gaming is terrible, so I've been using my Openweb account for that, at least off-peak. That expires in 2 days so I'll get a cheap capped account somewhere and connect with PPPoE to tide me over until this gets sorted. I think that will be a more sensible solution than switching ISPs again since, by all accounts, TI was great before this all started.

Anyone having problems on TI ... get a 1gig free Afrihost account. Compare. IT will be like going from 56k dial-up to DSL for the first time.

I'm sure most of us have that 1GB account and more, but will that help? This is a thread for TI uncapped accounts.
1GB capped account won't take you very far.
I probably will out preform current TI accounts in most cases.

Yeah. I also have a 11GB account which I use for official races, etc.

At the moment I have a PS4 3.3GB update for War Thunder. At the moment it will take 23 hours to download 3GB.
Ridiculous.

I wish I could have an indication, even just a tiny one, that my connection is going to work properly again soon, because then I'd be okay with the lag and the crappy download speeds, particularly from the GTA V Online servers. Afrihost Business was awesome, but I can't afford that at the moment and I can't cancel the TI account because it's in my father's name.

Yesterday I had 340ms ping to the SAIX speedtest server in CapeTown and MyBB's international test racked up 700ms and 0.7Mb/s down. This is insane.
