hi guys, anyone have a Netflix android tv apk that works on their pre updated box? none that I found work and the android based apk just sucks

Get the Update all works good, if it not updated call Nology support they will force the update, Update is great.
 
I have a A06 unit that has not updated yet.
Wondering if there is any way to trigger it?
I’ve tried the obvious update app and the software update in settings and insured my play store is on auto update.
Any other ideas?

Call Nology support remember take out a flash drive if you have one for the update and hard wire as the wireless settings will be lost they will need your mac address, called them sent email of a picture of my mac address and it was done their support is number 010 980 0000

Nology is closed until 2nd January though - so you can PM, but unsure what'll be read until New Year
 
Hi everyone, does anyone know if the echo dot will work with the Telkom lit box?
What do you want to do?
A simple on and off?

I tried over a year back with Google Home and was horribly limited. Never tried with the Dot though
 
Same setup as you have, working well here.
Now Netflix is giving an error code: NW-2-5 which is network connectivity, strange thing is it was working fine seeing I was connected to WiFi, I now connected via LAN cable directly to the router, but still get the error code.

Are you using a custom DNS or such?

Nology support is closed for the solstice holidays, I suspect. Get onto Netflix online support chat, they were able to check my account particulars and verify an error code when I had an issue after the box updates that Nology rolled out. You could also do a factory reset, which may help.
 
Bluetooth still not working on mine. Sux a bit. I'd love to use my Bluetooth earphones with this
 
Need a new remote where can I get one as telkom don't sell them seperaltly. Also which other remote is compatible with this device

This is previous Android TV version that was modded for HD support, but only plays stereo sound, no 5.1


This version has stopped working. Being blocked by netflix
