The Litbox streams more than just 1080p...it does 4k/uhd perfectly. I don't know your box but maybe it's your Internet or Wi-Fi speed to blame?

Have Telkom LIT box and a Mi-Box, both work at 1080 and both are 4k capable, 4k not tested as I do not have any 4k TV's or monitor's.

If it's the one I just Googled, it uses the Rockchip RK3328, which isn't great (and 4GB RAM?)

As mentioned, the LIT does UHD HDR @ 60fps.

I haven't tried Kodi - but Netflix UHD and YouTube UHD.

Could also be your specific copied file is better quality than the streams above ...

Cape Gate had the other day - I enquired at the top level cellular phone division just out of interest. There is a ground level genuine Telkom shop as well. You can try your luck.

I was there this morning and unfortunately no stock. There is a list already, so I've put my name on it, but no one knows, when the stock will arrive.
