Telkom upgrades active?

"ISP: MWEB CONNECT". Who says Mweb has to wait for Telkom before they upgrade all their line-managed 384kbps users to 1Mbps?

If this is the case then they've f**ked up my home line. Getting the worst speeds possible and latency is through the roof.

u get that 24/7 cuz it looks like something may be downloading,cuz your ping is just to high

I'm not downloading anything.

press alt,ctrl + delete,open task manager,click on preformance, click on resource monitor, then click on the network tab,and see of enything loads under "network activity"

sometimes things are open,but its closed (u closed them but its stil running)
if its on 0 u know nothing is buzzy

or u can test and see if its your acc

by logging in with

guest@telkomdsl
pass:guest
and test your acc with http://capetown.spdtst.saix.net/

The only thing it could be is the exchange. I'm not one to download torrent files or anything of the sort. I have 'paid-for' internet security software to make sure I don't have any rogue connections to my pc and I've disabled all wifi on my router.

And there's no internet activity happening at the moment.

2nd that! In bloem my line still syncs at same speed. I will be very happy if this is updated earlier than what Telkom dates say.
