Backup settings, uninstall old, reinstall new from Apktime. I always uninstall before installing the new one.

I haven’t tried the one from Gigahax yet. I’ll try that one and see what happens. I always just use Apktime. Maybe Apktime has the wrong one.

Do you have 2 versions of the Yes player installed at all? I have been having the same issue, and I found I had 2 versions installed. Removed the older one and rebooted, and it worked. Hopefully doesn't give me any more troubles tonight though.

I use Aptoide for the APk's. Have version 1.2.2 I think
 
Thanks to the DNS66 app I don't have ads in the apkmirror ads version (works for YouTube too apparently).

Stopped using DNS66 more than a year ago... it had issues eventually with updates etc. There are open source alternatives available that are way better.
 
Tried it, but with the other, Kodi, I don't have buffering problems, what ever I play...With Terrarium it Keeps Buffering .
Might be good if one likes to keep pausing a show and wait for it 10 minutes every time to let it work
