Nov 22 replaced V belts and Pulley
Last week rear disks and pads.

She still runs as good as the day I got her

2014 VW Cross Polo 1.2tsi. Bought in 2014 with I think 5000km on the clock. Just had the 240 000 service done. No issues. Look after your car and your car will look after you!

Now they have cheesy electronic gauges in the worst typefaces. MB and Lamborghini seem to have the most dire instruments of late. Even Porsche is ditching the central tach soon.

On 215 000 now.

My Beat just ticked over to 450 000km and i am still loving it.

So, the car worked very hard between 2007- 2017 as a daily driving a lot between PTA-JHB, PTA- Delmas, Witbank, Kwamhlanga as a daily in mixed driving conditions *highway cruising and bumper to bumper traffic*

In 2007 when i got it, it had 150 000km.

no issues? serviced on time, all that stuff? because I'm still amazed a Uno can rack up that sort of Miles, I thought all Italian cars fall apart as soon as you finish paying it off.
and they need to be babied or driven very little to be kept working properly, or it could be all those Highway Miles where the car is just cruising that makes them last that long.

Unfortunately I don't drive it so much anymore, mostly on Sundays when I go to to the illegal area to do illegal things, less suspicious car than the bakkie or a white bloke on a motorcycle.

Engine serviced on time every 8-10 000km
Fuel injection setup done @301 000km

Engine has been rebuild once @311 000km
*still using the same Pistons, rods, crankshaft, block, head, gearbox from factory and alternator- just replaced a couple of regulators
*1x new starter, waterpump, oil pump
*2x thermostat
*3x coils
*3x distributor
*4 ignition switch
