The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

I personally believe that trying to make "healthy" foods to imitate the foods you used to eat is a bad idea. Like no-carb bread, or low-carb pizza, I'd rather just not eat bread or pizza altogether.

It's partly psychological - it encourages a real change of habits as opposed to trying to do the same things you used to do. It's also because I'm not sure I trust such replacements. You end up eating more calories than you actually need, because you see those foods as "delicious".

Yeah, to a point.

However, it's also pretty poo when everyone else in the family is having pizza and you can't ;)

I'd rather have pizza once a month, but eat proper delicious pizza, than try the alternative.

So, I'd rather eat less of a delicious food, but make it count when I do eat it.

True.
But if I eat a proper delicious pizza, it completely fks me up for 3 days, during which time I _REALLY_ struggle to get back on the wagon.

If you have an Andiccio24 pizza place nearby you must try their Zucchini base. It really is a great alternative, very crispy like a proper pizza!

Sigh, it's easter and all the marshmellow eggs are out and the wife had some hot cross buns and butter last night :(

I just had my cocoa moose :p

Yeah these Banting "alternatives" to the yummy stuff is beginning to get absurd.

I say one slice of your favourite greasy pizza beats a goopy cauliflower and cheese concoction that looks revolting.

Still on 89kg.. haven't been banting for the last couple of days... just been having 1 meal a day... gonna get more difficult to stick to the diet during these cold rainy days... luckily Dominos doesn't deliver in the rain :p

Stable @ 134kg, bit of a fluctuation in the last week with company meetings ( includes breakfast, lunch, dinner ). Should be down by Monday hopefully.

Direction turned around, thank goodness.
