I'm doing 60 lengths in a 25 meter pool. 1.5 kms in about 40-45 mins. I feel like I could do more but that's all I have time for. My body feels great and I'm glad I learned to swim well when younger cos your body remembers. Maybe I can spend some extra long sessions doing more.Still a great go. Longest I've swum in a session is training for the mile but I've heard of some folks who swim longer stretches and wonder how they do it. Nevermind speed, endurance alone must be paramount.
Now just to keep up with the weight loss... I find THAT to be far, far harder.
