Major derail today :(
Picked up a serious migraine around 9am... been feeling shite all day., People round for a braai tonight, and of course the snacks/chips get put out. So I binged a bit.

Back on track tomorrow...

Planning ahead to be back on track.. Better than not planning at all :p

BTW, drinking at least the 5th glass of wine... My IF then only starts tomorrow after 1pm for eating... Let's see if I can manage.

In this heat today and the fact that my meetings ended early I had about 5 or 6 beers (castle light) and a few single Jameson.. got home at 8:30pm . Had a small helping of pasta... just to clear the fridge of the remaining carbs

Yup no point crying over spilt milk (or chowed carbs). Just pick yourself up and keep going

A round of tests with the doctor this year. I am 5 months (and 27kg's lighter and much much fitter) into getting healthy again after 19 years.
A 24 hour ABPM showed an average of 119/74. I've been on hypertensive/HBP meds for 12+ years and am still on them, but this is the lowest average results I've had since I can recall/first diagnosed.
Doc took me off chronic cholesterol meds in November, with the view to test me in new year. HDL is a little low (need some more Omega3/good fats) but LDL is normal .
Glucose levels are good.
Overall, much healthier and a great start to 2019!
