The Angry at "Clickbait" Thread

Good example of what clickbait really is. The Citizen in this case chose to use a very dramatic image from iStock versus using any real photo or video related to the actual incident. For one purpose and one purpose only.

Tbh i read what looks interesting to me if it ends up i dont like what im reading i move on i dont complain.Thank you Mybroadband for all the articles you publish.People just want to complain about everything.
 

Honesty, this is a new low. Fear-mongering clickbait at it's worse.

How can you expect to be "trusted in" anything with headlines like that?

@rpm are you really condoning this sort of journalism? And encouraging your staff to write such headlines?

I think your forum members expect better - this is boardering on fake news
