Hi Everyone
I have been reading this thread since February, after I started my at the end of January this year. I had decided late last year that I need to make a change in my life. I had been the big guy for most of my life and pretty much always been okay with that. I guess I just realised that if I didn't change something, I would not be able to achieve certain things that I would want to in life.
Now when I say the big guy, I mean the the BIG guy. I am probably the biggest person that most people have seen IRL. I guess when I started working 9 years and had disposable income I ballooned even more. After I had done LCHF for a month I bought myself a scale and decided to weigh myself. I had an idea of where I would be and I was not far off. The scale clocked in at whopping 234kg, first off I was just happy I registered on the scale. Later when you start to think about it one human being, a whole 234kg.....
Well as of today I am happy to say that I have lost 51kgs using LCHF, and I am currently 183kgs. Half way to the major goal I set myself, to loose 100kgs and then take it from there. I started off LCHF, added in very little exercise, started of walking for about 1.2Kms 4 days a week after work. Now I walk about 2.5kms regularly and do some lifting when I can now. In May I added in IF and haven't looked back. I'm still the big guy but I'm pretty sure after I have changed to this way of living I'm on way to not being the big guy!
I just wanted to thank everyone who has been a part of this thread, it has been invaluable to my journey so far! The advice and recipes have been amazing. The Loaded Cauliflower is a house hold favourite now.
