Tasting notes?this is most excellent!

Good to see that some of us still prefer wooded wines, I thought that I was the only one left. I drink to the long and arduous death of all wokeist wine makers! This is one of the best white wines we've ever tasted

As mentioned, 'most excellent'Tasting notes?

Are any of these offers worth getting in terms of the quality of the wines?
I was suspicious about the huge discount given on the Andreas wines. I am not familiar with them, but it seems too good to be true for a wine that is worth it.Out of all those I'd buy the Waterford wines in a heartbeat. I don't think I've ever had a bottle from them that I didn't like.

No, absolutely, but we're talking generally here - you're more likely to get plonk at a lower price point. The price isn't always the benchmark for quality. I bought some wine from a cellar just up the road from me last year for R40 a bottle, and it really punched way above it's weight. I'd have that merlot over some other merlot's that's way more expensive purely because I loved how it tastes. I've had some expensive wines from a very well known cellar that I ended up using for cooking.

Paid R390, worth every cent.

Normally such a safe bet for a good enjoyable red. Hope you didn't buy a case! This was most disappointing... Not corked or faulty, just bland.
