my and the GF's B593 are still performing perfectly - probably best modem/router buy I've ever made - very happy and also that I renewed my Telkom 10+10 @R199 last month![]()
Another way to check : If you have the B593s-601 (can't remember what version you have!), you can also slip your "unknown" 3G/4G MTN SIMcard into the unit and do a manual network search. If there is MTN LTE in your area, it will show up on your network list as "MTN(4G)". If you then try and register but your SIMcard isn't 4G-enabled, it will fail.Thanks for the MTN LTE reply, I'll have to drop in at an MTN store methinks, but I'll try it in my B593, just in case
