Firmware 2.0 (1.2 beta) hacked to allow unofficial iPhone Applications already!!

iPhone hackers are at it again and this time they have been able to get unofficial native third-party iPhone applications to run on the new iPhone firmware (Aspen).

The thing that is quite interesting here is that they have been able to develop the yet-to-be-released iPhone firmware 1.2 compliant unofficial iPhone applications using the official SDK by modifying the headers.

what i meant was that it would be good news if vodacom is selling it too because then there will hopefully be more of a chance in getting mxit and having the call failed thing sorted out...

Oh yeah good thinking! The reason why Mxit doesnt work is nothing to do with the network provider though, its solely due to the fact that Java is not supported for the iPhone but it is being developed and would probably be included in the next firmware release

Hey guys for those of you that have the Drummer application (if you dont have it, where have you been all this time!?! its the best app around! Grab it from installer ):

I have made a custom drumkit for the numb/encore song by linkin park & Jay-Z!!!

Grab it here and put it in ~Var/Mobile/Media/MooCowMusic/Drummer/Kits (via SSH or whatever)

I've put alot of effort into this so please give it a shot and let me know what you think ;)

Also if you need any help gimme a shout

How to Increase Your iPhone Call History

These are instructions on how to increase the number of entries stored in your iPhone's Call History. This patch will increase the number of entries you can store to 250!

You must have 1.1.3 or higher firmware installed on your iPhone to install this patch.

For the local users - basically says add the iClarified repo to Installer and install "Call History Patch", reboot and voila, u can now store more calls in call history :D
 
Hi again. Need some help please. I want to sort out the caller id thing. When I download AppSupport patch for 1.1.4, it works great with the caller id, but it crashes my native SMS? When I uninstall, it's fine again. Also tried the patch for 1.1.3, same story. Please help. Thanks

how do you do the ssh thing? theres a lot of things you can download for the iphone that requires you to do the ssh thing and create a directory etc but i dunno how =(
