I can't take the credit for that.. theron.roland and morkhans are the guys to thank.

Unfortunately i don't have a 3G to play around with so I couldn't be of much help..

I can give them an alternative logo though to make a .ipcc for you guys with a diff (cooler imo :p) logo :D
 
Ah that could be it. When I open itunes it tries to access the store then sends a time out message

Atleast with Microsoft things come set up already ;)

I just put in my MMS settings and sent an mms and it worked - sticks on 90% for a while but then it does send.

For those of you who dont feel like paging back here it is again for Voda

APN : mms.vodacom.net
MMSC : mmsc.vodacom4me.co.za
MMS Proxy : 196.006.128.013:8080

And thats it, turn your phone off and then back on and in sms you will see a little camera icon to attach an image.

how did you download it with iTunes? if you clicked the update button, iTunes should have done the rest and you wouldnt have to browse for it?

if you downloaded it manually, then the shift-update method is what you must do.

on the first page of this thread is the locations of the downloaded firmware. try look there

Are u on a iphone contract??? Myne gets to 90% and then says sending failed.
 
Sorry but this is a joke,
1) MMS - not working gets stuck at 90%
2) Tethering - not working
Not sure what else is not working.
WTF do they expect? Now we have to still tweak everything?

I'm on a topup 315, i bought the iphone cash - contract came with a regular phone.

Maybe try again where u get better signal?
 
my APN dissappears when i put mms.vodacom.net .... Im on a iPhone 500 contract. Perhaps thats why marine1 are you on a iPhone contract.

Please check if yours dissappears
 
my iphone dont want to update say "iphone activation server is temporarily unavailable"
what must i do?
