The Mazda 6 Thread

Would you like to see the Mazda 6 make a glorious comeback?

Reports of its death may (or may not) have been greatly exaggerated…

When the Mazda 6 was pulled from sale at the start of the year, we thought that would be it for the much-loved saloon. Memories were shared, metaphorical fists were shaken, and then we all begrudgingly moved on.

Even Mazda itself signalled there was no way back for the 6. “With the launch of the Mazda CX-60 PHEV and the upcoming CX-60 diesel, as well as the well-established Mazda CX-5 – SUV consumer demand continues to grow and this is where the focus is for dealers and in the UK market,” it said at the time.

“This combined with declining UK sales in the saloon and estate car sector, mean we have ended sales of the Mazda 6 in the UK. However, the Mazda 6 will continue to be sold in some European markets.”

However, could an unlikely U-turn be on the cards at some point in the future? According to a report from Japanese outlet Best Car, a new version of the Mazda 6 might well be in development after all.

Is it true Mazda is the most reliable vehicle brand?
That’s a hard Q to answer as it depends on more than a few factors.

Having said that Mazda still gets to the upper end of reliability & consumer feedback lists & reports.

Generally speaking the most reliable vehicle brand is said to be Lexus, a title they’ve held for many years.
