The Offical PSL Thread

I repeat, my team is going to win the league for the third time.

Lets close this thread.

So Mphela got his 13th goal on wednesday but due to the game being called off it was cancelled out.wow - just checked the psl fixtures and there arent that many games left in the season.what a compact season!!!

You'd think Loftus would have a half decent drainage system, but no. Just as well the WC is going to be in the winter... otherwise we'd have problems.

Good to see players expressing themselves in their own language at the interviews instead of stumbling along in a language they hardly understand.

The Chiefs vs Celtic game was great! Well done to Celtic for holding out for so long with ten men.

I dont see any team catching up to SSU, at this stage.

I watched thd Amazulu vs Sundowns game and the stadium seemed quite empty. Are people no longer drawn by the stadium or was it just the weather at play.

Oh I think they are saving themselves for the big one - Chiefs vs Sundowns at the same venue on the 19th Dec.

I guess you were right. I just saw that this game is sold out!

Edit: Just realised that the stadium is hosting 2 games this weekend. Chiefs vs Sundowns on Saturday and Amazulu vs Cosmos on Sunday, hope the stadium and field can handle it!

So tonight is the Pretoria derby and it could be a huge factor for the title. If Sundowns win the league is open if SS win I think they have one hand on the trophy.

i am going to watch my first PSL match today . (I.e from beginning to end) . Lets hope the match is good with some good football played.

The Sky Is The Limit...Beating Chiefs and SS within the space of 3 days was the best Xmas present we could have hoped for. We have now won 5 games in a row and beaten fellow title contenders in the process.

Supersport are basically finished as they will still travel to Pirates, Santos, Platinum Stars, AmaZulu.

Thanks to my team Sundowns this league is now wide open again, even Celtic has a shot.
The other teams have got SS figured out with their in swinging set pieces :D Let's see if they have a plan B but I doubt they do as they have never had to chase down a title. They have always been upfront and almost surrendering on the final day (Only saved by goal differnce on both occassions).
