Russia flexing its muscles and showing some of what it is capable missile wise .

"“Four missile ships launched 26 cruise missiles at 11 targets. According to objective control data, all the targets were destroyed. No civilian objects sustained damage,” Shoigu said.

The missiles flew some 1,500 km before reaching their targets, proving their efficiency"

Its a fek off big sea, and has multiple countries that aren't that "friendly" (or at least weren't) to Russia....

Yeah, many landlocked countries do have a navy.

The Caspian Sea is linked to the Black Sea by canal, but only ships up to 5000 tons can navigate through that route. Also that 'silly' submarine built by the Iranians was designed to navigate through the shallow parts and trenches in the Caspian Sea, quite clever.

Russia in Syria: Russia launches missiles against Isis from Caspian Sea after Turkish PM says only 2 out of 57 Russian airstrikes hit Isis

...

The Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu told Russian media 26 missile strikes were launched this morning from four warships, destroying all 11 intended targets.

Mr Shoigu said no strikes were targeted at civilian areas.

...

More to follow.

Additional reporting by Associated Press.

;) In about 2 hours more or less...

This is quite serious from Russia...

Especially after Putin addressing the UN about this just over a week ago:

http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/u-s--su...l--putin-says-ahead-of-obama-meeting/41684982

What do you guys think of express.co.uk ?

Russian special forces:

and China allegedly possibly joining in:
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...-Syria-Boost-for-Putin-in-battle-against-ISIS

We mustn't forget that these are our 'chinas'... BRICS
ANC also saying not so long ago that they wants to start conscription...
http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/715514-The-ANC-wants-to-bring-conscription-back

Also, is this not enormous news midst the TTIP being signed?
Think there's any connection?

One thing for sure though looks like ISIS's time is running up.

What do you guys think?

Hectic how small things can make huge changes...

Took regular people being smuggled over and dying in the seas to get to Europe for change to start.

It's a topic that I won't debate as I’m in the opinion that all the world powers and little contributors has an ‘positive’ role to play and I'm sorry to say that I won't support the conscription system under our current governance. Politics are ugly and it won’t change anytime soon, the world is only growing smaller and there will be a time where people will need to accept each other and come to a mutual understanding, happily I will be like 2000 years old by then.

Yes it's running out and that's good even though the US and UK are bleating. Hit a dog hard enough and its owners will come out.

Dude, it's not that hard. There are a number of different rebel groups doing their thing including Isis.

Obama is an idiot and hinks he can support the non-Isis rebels and gain influence so that he can build an oil pipeline. Russia is saying any rebel is game for making pretty fireworks on the 9 o'clock news. Isis are just nutters trying to make some Muslim prophecy come true and are killing everyone.
