I don't know about the wise man. Sounds like giving up and being a loserAs a wise man may have once said ...maybe don't do it if you get injuries
I'm thinking you could you swap out with military presses with a comfortable weight push jerks and combine with things like strict slow release pull ups and shoulder taps to build support
However thank you very much for the second part. Those exercises sounds like great ideas to break through this plateau.
I am pretty certain though I have an imbalance in something on the left side, because when I do 42.5kg and 45kg barbell shoulder press, the left side starts to struggle and it is when these other muscles then start compensating for this imbalance where I then hurt the small stabiliser muscles. Whether it is the shoulder muscles or the triceps even, I think that is what I need to figure out. However I do far higher weights on bench press so I thought that meant the triceps is ok.
