- Version 1.40.5 of the App doesn't have the dimming issue , but have to use air mouse to switch video to full screen

-until such time as LIT supports Netflix officially, the sound comes through as STEREO if you have your AVR selected to auto. I have noticed however, that if you manually select the correct sound (DTS, DD, etc) then it DOES actually work... WEIRD!!! @techead

- No Issues for now
5. Plex
- No issues works fine from device store
* Possible issue with multi channel sound DTS/Dolby pro+ ( Check on plex server for direct stream or if it is transcoding the stream.
6. Kodi
- No issues works fine from device store
7. TV Setting Keeps crashing in settings
- Fix seems to be a factory reset of the device and setup from scratch

Don't see why I would sideload Plex or Kodi since they are on the Store.
The main issue is broken Netflix.
But thanks! Plan to install the thing for my old man and hte Smart TV does have Netflix but the less back and forth the better.

DSTVNOW: The dimming problem is only for an older version of DSTV NOW. The version I am running (latest) does not suffer this. But I think someone else pointed out some other hassle with the latest version. I think they had a problem with the fact that it doesn't go automatic to full screen - you have to click at the bottom first to enable full screen which is a minor problem in my opinion.

Regarding sideloading : ES File Explorer - under Network there are options Android TV , Bluetooth - think I have read somewhere you can "push" apks/any file from either of those two on your android phone to the android TV. Phone and android TV must both either be on the same WiFi network / Bluetooth ON . Phone being the sender and android TV being the receiver , both having ES File Explorer app.

Anyone tried loading their local (from computer on same network) movie library in Kodi on the Lit box. I get some network error...

Just connecting to a network share or what?
Just purchased the TVC box , and for some reason the ethernet port doesn't work .. if i reboot the device i get a link light but once in the GUI is disappears , from the GUI i disable wifi and even if i reboot it does not activate the LAN port ..
anyone have such a weird problem ? is there another setting page i can boot into ?

Hard reset the device and see again
this is weird ...
hard reset makes no difference ...
plugging the tvc into my primary mikrotik ,the Ethernet port works fine .. but plugging it into any other switch downstream ( other mikrotik / fortiap the link light goes out as soon as the setup moves to the network initialization section ...
everything else in the house works flawlessly over Ethernet ...
any other ideas please ....

That’s bloody weird, might be a faulty device. Can you not use it over Wi-Fi so long?

So witch version of DSTVNow doesn't have the Dimming issue?
