It is for Linux only, and like the name suggests, works over SSH.
Why is this so significant? Well, you can be in America and as long as both the Android device and your PC is connected to the net, you can remote control your media. Pretty darn cool!

I know you can do this from the terminal, but pushing buttons is so much easier!

Haven't used stock browser in ages but there should be something for that. I use Firefox and that syncs automatically with my desktop.

Well if you want app data to be backed up as well (like GoSMS, Opera bookmarks, Dolhin bookmarks, etc.) then you are going to need root access, or is there a way around this?

That is stored on the SD card, just pull it or copy it to your PC.

copied most of my stuff to pc. talking about firefox, is it working well now? the first version was ridiculous. i assume my bookmarks on my default browser will be pulled into firefox and sync with my online one as well.

I use MyBackup Pro (paid for) to back up across the cloud. Haven't tried to restore yet, so can't say if it actually works!

Haha, i dont have a damn dashboard mount yet, but i got the app and tested it on their youtube vid, pretty cool tech. But my eyes work so much better imho...

This is the quickest and smoothest launcher i've ever used. And I've used all of them. It doesn't slow down like others and is very stable. Droid X.

I tried every launcher on the market, for me personally they were all crap, really hated Launcher Pro though, finally settled on SP3d Shell launcher, best money i spent on my droid.
