I use prepaid accounts from Astraweb.
$50 for 1000GB - awesome...
I also use news servers and torrents.
News servers 98% of the time and torrents 2% of the time when I cannot find something very old on news servers. Very rarely though.
For me News servers are way better than torrents.
I do however use aDownloader on my tab if I need something in a hurry...
In terms of being free, torrents have much better retentions, whereas so far I haven't found a free NZB indexer than has more than 100 days retention for free users. However if you pay a small monthly, yearly, even once off free then the retention is much higher than torrents around the 1000 to 1500 days mark, much longer than any torrent will last.
Are you referring to nzb search sites or the news servers themselves. As far as search sites go, google "nzb search" and you'll find that most of the results on the first page index over 1000 days and can be searched for free.
I paid $10 for 10 years on nzbmatrix. Seems to do the job so far.
Its 10 years now? It used to be foreverAlthough - I imagine in 10 years there will be something else. (although newgroups have been round forever)

Sickbeard seems to do a pretty good job of finding current nzbs with its built in providers...

I'm trying to get Futurama without luck from both nzb and torrents![]()
It'll most likely only have a problem with old episodes.
