Well its 6:47 and torrents suck still

Agree, was about to edit my post earlier.

Spot when I switched over to my IS account.



So, the shaping is lasting longer now, last week or maybe the week before was around 5pm on the dot, not that I download torrents all the time, just my observations.

So use nntp and not torrents.
It will fly at line speed.

Honestly don't dl lots of torrents, only the odd releases of my favorite series weekly. But even dl normal files I hardly get more than 10meg dl on my 20meg line. When I use my MTN account its full taps but expensive data.

Looks like @Voxy is keeping a distance lately. I'm now pretty sure they know they have capacity problems.

not sure, have not actually tried it to be honest. But I'm sure fat pipe runs on IS ?? I got another account with Gridhost and it works.. let me do a test quick....

Vox uses their own backbone but I think their uncapped accounts are IS

Browsing to Mybroadband appears to be much slower than usual and having trouble sending email via the MWeb SMTP

Nope all fine. Was gaming just now and no problems even with downloads running in the background. Browsing is fine too.
