If it were an Openserv issue surely it would effect Telkom too but I am still streaming fine on Telkom.

I started having issues on Saturday. I dunno if anyone has contact support, but I did this morning. This is the response I got.
"Please be advised that we are aware of the browsing and speed issues in the cape town area. Our engineers has identified a potential root cause and are working on a resolution."
No ETR according to the support agent.

I was supposedly given a reference number for call-back from them on Saturday, might be that they'll only call today as I haven't received any messages/notifications yet.
I received the following email from VOX yesterday;
Good day
Please see the below feedback for your issue:

Just checking in; was able to stream and play an MMO (FFXIV) without being disconnected every minute or so yesterday. Things appear to be back to normal for me. How're things for everyone else?
Everything's more stable and higher than the 300KB/s, still not getting my full speed though, getting 15-20Mbps at most.
From what to what did you change your MTU?The Vox support told me to change my MTU on my router - it seemed to have solved the issue ( i am in Hout Bay )
What were they doing?Saw a lot of OpenServe about today, all along West coast Road/Otto.

Thanks. Typically it should be 1492 when you dial PPPoE over an ADSL modem, since the PPPoE header requires 8 bytes and the modem should support 1500 MTU for Ethernet.Changed the mtu to 1472
