Vox Telecom uncapped ADSL: Undercuts MWEB!

nice. When screamer and digichilli came out its was cool but this is just incredible. +-R550 for a 4mb uncapped account vs R2499 that screamer were charging. NICE!!

What's interesting is that both WA and MWeb are Tier1 ISP's...

...so WA's excuses really doesn't hold water any more.
 
I am a WA subscriber, and happy with the service I have had. Apart from Freezone (Steam download - WHEN it settles down) - there is no more incentive to keep with WA. They just priced themselves out of the market... I wouldn't be surprised if they announce uncapped services in "July" as they said there is "more to come"... probably waiting for someone else to take the plunge... ISP's in SA tend to be "Trench Warfare Specialists"... They always wait for someone else to jump over the top before they make any moves.

Very good point, having your own Tier1 Network should make a big difference.
I am just a bit worried about @lantic's service and support levels - they are as bad as a iBurst / HellKom combination.

Now for the 10mbps Telkom lines!
So if LLU happens, do you choose the nearest ISP (Area like in the UK)
 
OK, so Openweb is now the same price as Mweb... in fact they are partnering with Mweb.
 
Lol so are we gonna have 100s of posts where people sign up and post their Vox results?

Would have been sweeter if there was a data-only option, but this is great pricing. At this rate, even the moms and pops are going to go uncapped soon :D

Vox cuts Mweb prices by R10, wont be surprised if the next ISP announces Uncapped at R10 less than VOX
