I opened a bottle of my good wine to celebrate (Sorry champs give me headaches)
Hahaha! Nice.
This is all good and well, but I first want to see how they are going to handle all the traffic in about a month or two when everyone is suddenly downloading the entire freaking internet?
You can add OpenWeb to that list tooLast 6 months or so
FNB Connect (unshaped prepaid R69/gb)
Afrihost R29/gb (sometimes 14.50)
Screamer were a bit too disorganised
G-Connect as far as I know still have a stupid login page
Digichilli never really worked but was about the first to advertise uncapped at a reasonable price
There was that "ISP" that wasn't getting billed and tried to sell some stuff really cheaply which obviously didn't work out
WA took R1 off their R70/gb prepaid
Um, iBurst did a telkom and dropped some prices and raised others to advertise a decrease but really most people probably have to pay more
MWEB!

at this rate, i demand week to week contracts.
i thought things were crazy before.

.That means ISPs still pay heavily for the right to use a facility that was funded by taxpayers in the first place.
My guess is that Telkom's new bundle prices will be announced along with their speed upgrades in the next ten weeks. But don't expect anything as earth shattering as this (although I hope I am wrong).
