VW Up!

Drove it yesterday and was really surprised, given its a 1.0 litre it drives quite well.. unfortunately the price is a bit eeeh, will wait a bit and get one secondhand!

As much as I like the Up! you need to keep in mind it is a VW, so being overpriced comes standard, everything else is optional. This is still x1000 better than a Vivo.

Being overpriced is a no-cost feature of every new car on the market; it's hardly unique to VW.

If it came in auto, I'd buy one for my pops and take my '99 Merc C180 back for a Sunday cruiser!

Uhm, no, look at the prices on the Vivo...

Roux, you cannot just bang on about VW prices all the time, Look at anything from the Jeep/Chrysler stable, to begin with, then have a look at the Fiat /Alfa prices - these two hike their prices religiously, every three months, and with each price hike, the "extras" get an arbitrary number added to them - one that has nothing to do with the % of the price hike.

I am also pretty sure that it's not just CJD/Alfa Fiat that do it either.
