What's gonna happen?

Are shielded wires gonna suddenly to shift position, disconnect from a shielded transformer, breach more shielding then attach directly to the USB ports themselves?

I've tried the custom wall sockets thing...wouldn't go more custom than a 2pin / 3 pin double plate. (Interestingly enough my ~2 year old double plate already had the new SA plug standard on it (looks 2 pin shaped but has a 3rd pin)).

Personally I just have USB cables plugged into both laptop & PC...since I spend so much time near them the phone is usually charged.

No more risky than using a no name brand charger - less actually.

USB is max 5V DC

There would be a transformer between the socket and the 220 volts so I doubt that would happen.

Read news few months ago, Apple is recaling some chargers after electrocuting incident. Apparently gap between primary and secondary circuit did not comply with safety standards. I saw the same in many third-party products.

Just bought these legrand sockets.
It's modular so you can change the configuration.
The USB module is around R250 as it is a mini transformer.
