Web Africa Home Uncapped Feedback

Morning guys,

How are things looking this morning?
Please be aware that the connectivity issues experienced last night were due to schedule network maintenance.

I'll have a little more info regarding the capacity upgrades soon, just getting all my things in a row :)

I'm on leave for today, so I'll be out of the office in the next hour or so, will still probably post from home though if there is anything urgent, otherwise give our Support guys a shout, and I'll be back online on Monday.

Thanks for the feedback <3

I haven't tried gaming yet. But so far Skype has been flying at 75kB/s. So I'm over the freakin' moon :D

YouTube also downloading beautifully.

Will see how it goes through the day and let you know.

Anyone else with some feedback? At work right now so can't test for myself :/

everything feels very fast. youtube 720 plays without buffering.

Things are awesome at the moment. Let's hope it stays this way.

Been playing Old Republic for the last two hours. Latency issues seem to be resolved :D

I'll wait until this evening before I close my ticket, but so far everything is basically like any capped account (perfect).

Thank you, WebAfrica! Mega impressed :D

Awesome stuff, glad to finally see some positive fedback!

Ive got confirmation that the capacity has been allocated succesfully and was a massive increase of around 1/3 of our existing capacity. This will solve all the issues from the past week or two :-D

Happy surfing guys, ill be back online on Monday.

Good job in fixing the problem, lets see if it can stay this way.

At about 12:05 it started, at 12:10 that was it.

I've basically been playing the entire day and come Download+, the spikes start again.

The entire day, completely flawless until now :/

Edit: And again... Afrihost to the rescue.

I'm throttled and https is like not working. So I can't login to absa nor can I check my messages on facebook or even log in to league of legends.

just cancelled my account. This shaping is set from monday to friday. The shaping is not dynamic and doesn't go according to how the network load is cause its a public holliday today and shaping is still so bad. Webafrica is all about lies and I have cancelled my account now.

I'm waiting to see if this product is stable before jumping across. At the moment it looks rather like a cross between IS and MWeb. I presume the lack of capacity won't crop up again, and your customers won't have to wait so long to have the problem 1. recognised and 2. Resolved. (Speaking of waiting, the guys in charge of your web forum are quite tardy in answering queries like this one - can you kick them in the panty pls?)
