Yeah, Vumatel West Rand seems to have experienced a disconnect between 18:04 and 18:16 - Vumatel sent a notice to say that they have acknowledged it and the root cause is being investigated.
 
Anyone else have no Internet, vumatel trenched durban 1gbps line... Only way to get onto the network is if I turn on vpn..

Durban Update: We are currently experiencing a double break on our National routes (both our routes are down). Our one NLD provider is working to fail over to a third Route now. More updates to follow.

Don't think its down, VPN still routes traffic through it. Think its being selective where its traffic comes from though lol

That or a switch is down that Websquad and Afrihost is using to peer with Cloudflare. If it was a Cloudflare issue they would reroute it to London or another peering point like Djibouti or where ever. This looks like a NAPAfrica JHB issue. We will wait for it to get fixed hopefully soon.

Yeap Cloudflare JHB peering dead not only Websquad. Afrihost too. Anything served by Cloudflare JHB will be dead. Google, Fastly, Amazon and other peers like Microsoft and ISPs will still work.

Afrihost has stopped announcing in JHB.

All the traffic going to CPT now. The JHB Peering Link still down.

They are using HE Transit to peer with Cloudflare at JINX it seems.
 
Apologies for the late response on this one. JHB Cloudflare sessions dropped around 20:55 this evening. They came back up with 0 announces, so we're not routing to them via JHB at the moment, I see we're favouring CPT for now. They are sending some traffic back to us via JHB though.
