Apologies, We've been testing different routing strategies for the past 30 mins - this will have affected most inbound and outbound routes as we load and route tested each. We've balanced as best we can at the moment - EASSy seems to be having issues under the heavy load again. Waiting for feedback from transit providers.

Thanks, fully understand its mostly out of your control, just venting.
This is us testing and re-routing traffic. Reconvergence and route changes take a few seconds as we test different strategies
International traffic completely dead, can't login to Battle.net at all and can't run a speedtest to EU, also because of testing? Local seems fine
No problem, I understand. Will continue monitoring and making minor changes to our routes throughout the day to make the best of this outage.

Just want to add, that whatever route you've put into place is way worse than 10 mins ago, getting 0.5 mbps to EU download and full upload speed on different servers

We're putting pressure on Transit providers for some feedback here. Seem to be seeing issues with EASSy performance across the board.
Ok, just lost connection again, to be honest was working fine even after the cable break but only issues since the last disconnect. Going to avoid playing Modern Warfare Warzone for now, lol, keeps disconnecting whilst I am in a gunfight
Hahahah.. Had both kids come running to me. "Roblox just disconnected!"
And twitch is unusable... doesn't even start. Thank goodness for local CDNs on netflix and youtube etc.

I must say, I switched to my phone to see if it would improve and OMG it is 100000% worse, so thank you for your efforts.
Also I am now playing on Singapore servers and get 170ms constant

Yup, stopped online gaming today as it's beyond frustrating and still getting like 1 meg speed internationally....
At this point, it looks like we're tinkering, our transit providers are tinkering and so on and so forth - basically too many cooks in the kitchen. We've picked pretty much the best we can find with EASSy under pressure. Transit providers are working to improve matters now. Will continue following up to ensure we're back up to normal ASAP.
NAP saw an increase in traffic volume of almost 30% yesterday. (https://ix.nap.africa/statistics/ixp) These increases are pretty much identical on transit and I think EASSy is under more pressure than ever. Traffic volumes are about 35-40% higher than they were in January. So really not an ideal time for an outage on WACS.
Our asia routes via SAFE are still flying, so please take advantage of these if your games allow. We're doing everything we can to get East coast traffic to EU and onwards via EASSy normalised.
