We saw this too and taken it up with the upstream once again - their WACS interface flapped again. Apologies here - the switchover is still not seamless as routes are still hanging too long before the upstream withdrawal. We've asked them to look again at improving this.
So whats been happening? I'm worried that we seem to be getting alot of interruptions and my speed is pretty bad the last few weeks. <it's been up and down. some days are better than other days>.

My worry is, it's every few days.

Wasn't there some talk about switching to an alternate upstream provider a few days ago, or did I misunderstand?

Yup. Still working on that. Commercials for jhb are sorted. However, Cape Town is proving a little more of a headache. But it’s definitely on the cards as well as some presence one of the big international exchanges (to give us more control over routing where needed).

This is definitely coming online, thanks for your patience here. We're quite happy with the system and it's rolling out in all 3 regions simultaneously. Getting the most out of it requires making some architecture changes at a core level. We've started some of these changes on the core access layer in the past few days (some not as hitless as expected, like Tuesday night - apologies). However, core changes are definitely service affecting. As soon as these maintenance dates are confirmed, we'll send out a notice and finalise these changes (don't worry, maintenance windows are always between 2 and 4am).

Im a bit confused, i received my invoice this month, yaay! , but its for R280. Now, im not complaining, thats a bargain, and its paid, however, i dont want to end up like the one deleted thread about the one guy and coolidea's...

Fibre line is down in Kempton Park trenched.

Anyone else experiencing issues?

Apologies for missing this one last night. Checked logs and don’t see any outages on Teraco 1 (The Vumatel master mode you’re on). Could be a switch reboot. But no general outages that way from what I can see.
